The Champaign County Association of REALTORS® presented the Don Moyer Boys and Girls Club with a $2,035 donation to be used to help provide funds for transportation for field trips and activities for children in the program.
CCAR launched fundraising efforts this year to help fund the program whereby REALTORS® and affiliate members could donate funds to aid in the program.
This is the second year CCAR has partnered to help offer assistance to the local Boys and Girls Club.
Champaign County Association of REALTORS® president Jim Waller presented the check at the September 14th CCAR membership meeting to Sam Banks, CEO/Executive Director and Charles Burton, Chief Operating Officer of the Don Moyer Boys and Girls Club.
“Building strong communities is a part of the REALTOR® Association mission and we are very enthusiastic about the opportunity to contribute in a meaningful way to help through our contributions to support the Don Moyer Boys and Girls Club this year,” said Jim Waller, president of the Champaign County Association of REALTORS®. CCAR program is part of a national overall outreach partnership encouraged by the National Association of REALTORS® to join forces with the Boys and Girls Club of America.
