REALTOR Liz McDonald, ABR, GRI is the New CCAR President

Liz McDonald, ABR, GRI, co-owner of The McDonald Group, has been installed as the 2020-21 president of the Champaign County Association of REALTORS®.  

As a member of CCAR, McDonald has served on the CCAR Board of Directors and on numerous CCAR committees and working groups, including the Professional Development Committee, Multiple Listing Committee, Grievance Committee and as chairman of the Designations Committee.

McDonald is also active with the Illinois REALTORS® and is a member of the REALTORS® Professional Standards Committee. She currently participates in the Illinois REALTORS® Leadership Development Program.

She will represent CCAR at the Illinois REALTORS® and National Association of REALTORS® business meetings during her term as president.

McDonald has been involved with many community organizations including First Presbyterian Church of Champaign, Copper Creek Church, Don Moyer Boys and Girls Club, Champaign County YMCA and various Unit 4 school organizations. She is a member of the Champaign Public Library Foundation Board of Directors.

Other 2020-21 CCAR officers elected and installed include: President-elect Stefanie Pratt, a broker with Coldwell Banker Real Estate Group, P.J. Trautman, a broker with Champaign County Realty and Immediate Past President Julie Roth, a broker with Coldwell Banker Real Estate Group.

Newly installed directors include: Jeremy Brandow, a broker with Coldwell Banker Real Estate Group, Dionne Clifton, Designated Managing Broker with LIVE Real Estate Group and Laura Heiser, a broker with RE/MAX Realty Associates.

Returning Directors include: Scott Bechtel, broker/owner of Keller Williams Realty; Marty Carlson, a broker with RE/MAX Realty Associates and Fawn Waller, a broker with Keller Williams.
