REALTOR® Jim Waller, a licensed real estate broker with Coldwell Banker Honig-Bell in Champaign has been installed as the 2016-17 president of the Champaign County Association of REALTORS®.
Waller received his real estate license in 1984. As a member of CCAR, Waller has served on many committees including the Association Operations Committee, Technology Development and Multiple Listing Service Committee. Waller will represent CCAR at the Illinois REALTORS® and National Association of REALTORS® business meetings this year. He oversees the Association operations and leads the Association’s Board of Directors.
Waller has been in charge of the local Salvation Army/Coldwell Banker Honig-Bell toy drive for 21 years. He has served on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers/Big Sisters and St. John’s Lutheran school board.
Other 2016-17 CCAR officers elected and installed include: President-elect Max McComb, a broker with RE/MAX Realty Associates in Champaign and Eric W. Porter, a broker with RE/MAX Realty Associates as Secretary-Treasurer.
Newly installed directors include: P.J. Trautman, real estate broker/appraiser with Champaign County Realty and Jayme Ahlden, a broker with RE/MAX Realty Associates in Champaign.
Other members of the CCAR Board of Directors include: Immediate Past President Stefanie Pratt, a broker with Coldwell Banker Honig-Bell; Scott Bechtel, broker/owner of Keller Williams Realty; Kimberly Krisman Clark, a broker with RE/MAX Realty Associates; Liz McDonald, a broker with The McDonald Group and Alex Ruggieri, broker with Ramshaw Real Estate/Sperry Van Ness.
The Champaign County Association of REALTORS® installation of officers was held on September 15, 2016 at the Hawthorn Suites in Champaign. The Champaign County Association of REALTORS® is a voluntary trade organization serving Champaign County and surrounding areas and it is the leading resource for REALTOR® members and an advocate for homeownership and private property rights.
