Veterans Can Use GI Bill Benefits to Take Live Pre-License real estate courses
Veterans
who want to start a career in real estate can use their GI Bill benefits to take live pre-license courses through the Illinois Association of REALTORS® and its members associations. IAR is the only real estate school in Illinois authorized under the guidelines, and the benefits only apply to live classroom courses.
Veterans
who started coursework after July 1, 2014 are eligible for reimbursement. Those participating must meet the Department of
Veterans
Affairs GI Bill guidelines. Qualified
veterans
pay all course costs up front to the branch providing the live training. Participants may call
(888) 442-4551
to learn if they qualify.
If you have questions, contact IAR at
217-529-2600
or
education@
iar.org.
